Animal Network Collaborative Clinic with RAM
In 2015, Remote Area Medical (RAM) brought their free health clinic to Bradenton. Animal Network joined them for their 2016 and 2016 clinics, which expanded to included veterinarian services for eaow-income pet owners.
Just for Girls Education Program
This wonderful collaboration reaches out to educate, encourage and enable young girls to be Student Animal Advocates. Students learn about the importance of microchipping, spay and neuter and all receive vouchers for free services.
Animal Network sponsors a subscription for all the students to Kind News. This education-based magazine is published by The Human Society of the United States and reveals the wonder of world’s creatures and the challenges they face. Kids enjoy pet care tips, how-to pieces and learn how they can become advocates for animals.
Public School Education Program
The goal of Animal Network’s Education Program is to highlight the problem of pet overpopulation and the consequences of backyard breeding. Students are encouraged to become Animal Advocates and are given free vouchers to get their personal pets microchipped, spayed and/or neutered.
Suncoast Animal Alliance
Animal Network has teamed up with seven local groups to organize and fund special events that encourage and enable Microchipping, Spay and Neuter. The members of the Suncoast Animal Alliance are ARC, Humane Society of Manatee County, Humane Society of Lakewood Ranch, Bishop SPCA, Cat Depot, Nate’s Honor Society and Manatee County Animal Services.
Animal Network sponsors a monthly community collaboration known as Yappy Hour. Held at Motorworks Brewery in Bradenton, this fun filled pet-friendly afternoon brings animal lovers together to enjoy local brews, raffles baskets, silent auctions and adorable adoptable dogs. Each month, a different rescue is invited to introduce their mission to the public and raise funds to help their cause.
